Worcester re-enactors are a group of friends who either live in or have contact with Worcester. We are a group made up of individual re-enactors who are members of various clubs and societies covering periods ranging from Ancient Greece to the 20th Century. We meet informally every Wednesday in various pubs in and around Worcester. You are welcome to join us any time.
Wednesday nights still on hold.
Living History in Worcester
Every February we blow away the cobwebs of Winter with a big Multi-period show based at Worcester's Commandery and Tudor House. There are hundreds of re-enactors from all over the country covering centuries of history.
2022 show remains hopeful.
Worcester Living History Show
Worcester Re-enactors' Committe are sorry to announce that Worcester Living History Show at Spetchley Park will not be going ahead this year. We had to make a final decision about this by the beginning of May. With insufficient information about what has to be in place for large-scale events to go ahead this summer we are unable to plan ahead with any confidence and to make the financial commitments which would be involved.
We will be talking to the managers at Spetchley about a 2022 event, and will publish the provisonal dates for that as soon as they have been agreed.
Time Travellers' Convention 2021
Date: Saturday 4th December 2021.
We round off the year with a party. The only rules are to wear period costume and have a good time. A very light-hearted ceilidh gets everyone dancing. For many this will be the first time in kit for quite a while.
Tickets are £17.50 (early bird price of £15) - Just ask one of the WR regulars, or make an enquiry via our Facebook page. Last year's tickets will be honoured.
This year's party is at the new venue of the Henry Sandon Hall at the Royal Worcester Porcelain Works.
